Let’s Stop Running From Ourselves
Let’s shift into our beauty instead
We have perfected the art of running from ourselves, our pains, our fears, our truth. We have invented a myriad of ways that excuse us from living this life, living it to the fullest, stepping into
our potential, opening our arms to opportunity.
We know very well, deep within, what eludes us, but we are too afraid to face what we need to in order to move beyond our limitations.
We have created a comfort zone around us allowing us to close our eyes to the obvious.
But truth will not simply disappear, it wants to be seen.
Let’s listen to our bodies trying so hard to get our attention while we have locked ourselves away in a cloud of thoughts, projecting, blaming, dissecting others.
Let us become still, breathe, and fully surrender into ourselves.
We shy from this process because we can sense the amount of pain hidden in the depth. We think ourselves incapable of handling it, and thus we create more excuses and thoughts that keep us occupied. All so we won’t have to truly see ourselves.
But what if we knew of the beauty and light and gorgeousness and kindness and strength and compassion and love hidden within — so bright it goes beyond anything we could ever have imagined?
What if we knew how capable we were?
What if we told ourselves we could do this?
What if we were courageous enough to take that first step, allowing ourselves to look within, to understand, feel, and see what is really going on?
Let us give permission to our hearts to step forward and for our minds to rest. Why not make this the first day to listen to our inner wisdom?
Step by step, we can shift into our beauty. It is possible. For you. For me, for all of us.
